Friday brought a refreshing rhythm of structure and freedom. The morning began with English lessons, where students built on their speaking and comprehension skills through interactive tasks, storytelling, and cultural discussion. Our small-group classes encourage confidence and communication and it’s been wonderful to see even our quieter students beginning to share their thoughts and ideas in English with growing ease.
After lunch, the programme shifted gears into a sporty and active afternoon. Students rotated between swimming lessons, basketball games, and badminton matches. For many, it was a chance to try new sports in a supportive environment, while others showed off skills honed back at home.
The pool was particularly popular in the warm summer weather, with experienced swim instructors helping students gain water confidence and improve technique. Meanwhile, on the courts, laughter and teamwork were the order of the day and even the staff joined in for a friendly (and slightly competitive!) game of badminton!
