Hello again, dear parents! We are delighted to share the highlights from Day 7 of our summer programme at King’s Canterbury. Today was a perfect blend of education, creativity, sports, and a special culinary treat that provided students with a true taste of English tradition.
Engaging Lessons and Activities
The day began with another round of engaging lessons, where students continued to explore their subjects with enthusiasm and curiosity. Our dedicated teachers ensured that each lesson was both informative and interactive, encouraging students to participate actively and think critically. The morning was filled with lively discussions, group activities, and insightful learning moments. After a stimulating morning of lessons, the afternoon kicked off with various sports activities. Students had the opportunity to choose from a range of sports, and artistic activities including dodgeball, basketball, jewellery making, lavender bags, and more. The sense of achievement and pride was evident as they completed their projects and shared them with friends and instructors.
A Wonderful English Afternoon Tea
The highlight of Day 7 was undoubtedly the wonderful English Afternoon Tea, prepared by our talented King’s School chefs. After an active and creative day, students gathered in the dining hall for this special treat. The tables were beautifully set with an array of traditional English delicacies, including finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a selection of pastries and cakes.
The students were excited to experience this quintessential English tradition. They enjoyed the delicious food, sipped on juice, and chatted with their friends in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. The Afternoon Tea was not just a meal but an experience that gave students a glimpse into English culture and traditions.

学生们对体验这种典型的英式传统感到兴奋。他们享用着美味的食物，喝着果汁，在轻松愉快的氛围中与朋友聊天。下午茶不仅是一顿饭，更是一种体验，让学生们一窥英式文化和传统。
