Day 4: Engaging Lessons and Creative Activities
Hello again, dear parents! We’re excited to share the highlights from Days 4, 5, and 6 of our vibrant summer programme at King’s Canterbury. These days were filled with diverse activities, ranging from educational lessons to thrilling excursions.
Day 4: Lessons, Swim Coaching, Basketball, and Candle Decorating
Our fourth day started with a series of engaging and stimulating lessons. Students delved into their subjects with enthusiasm, guided by our dedicated and passionate teachers. The morning buzzed with intellectual curiosity as students interacted with their peers and instructors, setting a positive tone for the day.
After a productive morning of lessons, the afternoon was dedicated to physical and creative pursuits. At the King’s School Sports Centre, students had the opportunity to participate in swim coaching sessions. Under the expert guidance of our swimming instructors, students worked on refining their techniques and building their confidence in the water.
Simultaneously, another group enjoyed basketball coaching. The court was alive with energy as students practiced dribbling, shooting, and teamwork. The coaches provided valuable tips, ensuring that everyone, from beginners to more experienced players, had a fantastic time.
For those inclined towards creative activities, candle decorating was a delightful experience. Students let their creativity flow as they designed and decorated their own candles, resulting in beautiful and unique creations to take home as souvenirs.
Day 5: Exploring Historic London
Day 5 took our students on an exciting journey to London, offering a mix of history, culture, and grandeur. Boarding private coaches, the students were filled with anticipation for the day’s adventures.
Visit to the Tower of London
Our first stop was the historic Tower of London. Students were captivated by the tales of intrigue and history that surrounded this ancient fortress. The highlight, of course, was the Crown Jewels. The students marvelled at the stunning regalia, learning about the significance and history behind these priceless treasures.
Tour of Buckingham Palace
Next, we headed to Buckingham Palace, the iconic residence of the British monarch. The students were thrilled to visit the State Rooms and explore the opulent interiors where official events and ceremonies take place. The tour of the gardens added a touch of tranquillity to the visit, offering a glimpse into the serene and meticulously maintained grounds.
Day 6: A Day at Junior King’s School
Day 6 was spent at the picturesque Junior King’s School, where students had a variety of activities to choose from, all set within the school’s expansive 80-acre grounds.
Music Lessons
The day began with music lessons, where students could either practice their instruments or try something new. The music rooms were filled with melodies as students collaborated in small groups, guided by our talented music instructors.
Orienteering and Sports
Later, the students embarked on an orienteering adventure. Navigating through the vast grounds, they worked in teams to complete challenges, fostering both their navigational skills and teamwork. It was a thrilling outdoor experience that combined physical activity with problem-solving.
For those keen on sports, there were numerous options including football, cricket, and tennis. The extensive sports facilities of Junior King’s School provided the perfect setting for these energetic activities.
Epic Game of Hungry Hippos
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the epic game of Hungry Hippos. Adapted for a larger scale, this game brought laughter and excitement as students worked together to “collect” as many balls as possible, mimicking the classic board game. It was a fantastic way to end the day, with everyone in high spirits.

第五天：探索历史悠久的伦敦
第五天，我们的学生踏上了一次激动人心的伦敦之旅，这次旅行为他们提供了历史、文化和壮丽景象的结合。学生们登上了私人长途汽车，满怀期待地迎接这一天的冒险。
参观伦敦塔
我们的第一站是历史悠久的伦敦塔。学生们被这座古老堡垒的神秘和历史故事所吸引。当然，亮点是王冠珠宝。学生们对这些令人惊叹的王室珠宝赞叹不已，了解了这些无价之宝背后的重要性和历史。
参观白金汉宫
接下来，我们前往白金汉宫，这里是英国君主的标志性居所。学生们兴奋地参观了国家厅，探索了举行正式活动和仪式的豪华内饰。花园的游览为这次参观增添了一丝宁静，让学生们一瞥那宁静且精心维护的花园。
第六天：在Junior King’s School的一天
第六天，我们在风景如画的Junior King’s School度过，这里有多种活动供学生选择，所有活动都在学校广阔的80英亩场地内进行。
音乐课程
